We develop Kaukani from ingredients selected for their taste, nutrition and freshness. The ginger we use is native to Peru because it has better taste qualities than ginger from other origins. In addition, it comes from organic farming, which guarantees optimal quality for health.
We attach great importance to the impact of our activity on the environment. We have added an “eco-responsibility” component in our procurement, manufacturing and logistics processes, aimed at reducing our impact on nature as much as possible.

In this special period, when it is important to refocus and think about the way we consume, we have made the choice, whenever possible, to work and supply ourselves to French companies. In our opinion, it is essential to make the effort to consume as much locally as possible and to support the men and women who participate every day in the economy of our country.
At Kaukani we have other values and, in part thanks to you, we are committed to making a difference. Because we deplore the action of the Man not only towards nature but also towards the most deprived, to understand us to participate in a concrete way and on our humble scale, in the preservation and the safeguard of the life but also to help the children the poorest to have a better life.
For this, we have decided to support various associations recognized in their field of action by donating part of our income to them. Thus, for each bottle you buy, 50 euro cents will be donated to an association committed to the protection of nature or to help the most disadvantaged. We support a different association each year.
In 2022, we chose to support a French association, the Association for the Protection of Wild Animals (ASPAS). One of ASPAS’s activities is to create Wildlife Reserves® where no human activity is allowed, except for contemplative, amorous or curious strolls. This label is the highest level of protection in France. The more we give back to wild nature territories where it can express itself fully and freely, the better we find a place to our measure, without excess.
ASPAS contributes to the protection of fauna, the preservation of the natural heritage and to ensuring respect for Nature in the broad sense of the term.

The virtues of ginger are numerous. In addition to its reputation as a powerful aphrodisiac, Zingiber officinale is a plant that would improve digestion. Research has shown that it may help maintain gut flora and better digest fat. It is also used as a tonic. Thanks to its antiemietic action, ginger would also reduce nausea and vomiting. If you have motion sickness or are pregnant, it may help. Ginger would also have the ability to lower fever, in addition to an anti-bacterial action.
A POWERFULL ANTIOXIDANT
Ginger contains antioxidants, which are compounds that protect cells from the effects of free radicals. The latter are particularly reactive molecules. They are involved in the aging of cells, and in the development of certain related diseases. Two studies, a first carried out by Nakatani N. in 2000 and a second carried out by Kikuzaki H, Nakatani N. in 1996 confirm that ginger contains about forty. A NATURAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
A review article written by Grzanna R, Lindmark L and Frondoza CG which lists the studies carried out on the plant shows that ginger is a 100% natural and powerful anti-inflammatory. It limits the secretion of prostaglandins. This is how the inflammatory process can be reduced by consuming ginger. The rhizome also relieves ailments associated with these inflammations, such as pain associated with arthritis, tendonitis or low back pain. Its effects are very promising in countering the pain associated with osteoarthritis as well as rheumatoid arthritis.
